BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - An upper-level low pressure system will push in from the west and run into the very warm and humid airmass that has been in place since yesterday. The early part of our morning will remain mostly dry with with some dense fog along the coast and through the Bangor region. However, as the low pressure system tracks closer to our area by late morning and into the afternoon, scattered heavy showers and thunderstorms are likely to develop. Showers start across southern and western Maine my mid to late morning and slowly slide northward through Bangor and northern Maine by the early afternoon.
