BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - A crash involving nine vehicles caused serious traffic issues on Interstate 95 in Bangor Thursday morning. 9 vehicle crash at MM 183 NB in Bangor Thursday morning. (Maine State Police) The crash happened on the northbound side at mile marker 183. Maine State Police say a vehicle suddenly stopped in the passing lane while a trooper was conducting a traffic stop on the left side of the interstate. They say that caused the vehicle behind them to suddenly stop and they were rear-ended which then caused the multi-vehicle crash.
